I started playing hockey at the age of 5. At that time I had been skating with my family several times so I was already able to skate around on the ice. The first three weeks I practiced with the Rookies of the Junior Capitals in Vienna. After that I started to practice with the U8-Squad of the Junior Capitals which is the youngest age group there.

I played my first tournament in Klosterneuburg, Austria in February 2007; as a forward. My first full season was 2007/08. I started as a forward but midway through this season I changed my position to play goalie. Not good enough to play regular tournament games I just played some exhibition tournaments. One year later I was the starter in goal for the Junior Capitals U8 squad.

From 2008 to 2014 I played six full seasons for the Junior Capitals starting with the U8-Squad to the U13-Squad. During that time we won several Austrian Championships (see Hockey Achievements).

In 2014 I switched clubs to play for the Blackwings Linz. The reason was that I was allowed to practice not only with my age group but with older players as well. So in my first season in Linz I played for the U14-Squad (one year older players) but trained with the U16-Squad.

In the 2014/15 season I regularly played for the U14-Squad, sometimes for the U16-Squad and practised with the U16- and U18-Squad.

In the 2015/16 season I only played for the U16-Squad but skated with the U18- and U20-Squad.

My first year in North America was very tough. Not only did I have to adopt to the smaller ice surface and the faster players but also to a completly different way of life. I had a great year in Toronto playing for the Hill Academy though.

Although still U16 eligible last season I was the starter for the U18 team of the NY Aviators. We had a tough year beeing one of the weaker teams in the USPHL. For me as a goalie this meant to get a ton of shots each game. That was fun on a regular Basis. I hope to continue on a great season next year.
